Many people in our current times do mistake the chiken pox disease as a childrens only disease, and many of us do not even know that the disease does really exist .They have no information of the existence of the disease justthe same way that they can not know that small pox disease did exist on this planet afews years back and that it used to kill people even.
It is due to the discovery of the medicines that caused the extinction of this dieases that i am wondering what really could be going on in Kericho town.A week hardly passes before we hear of reports of fresh new infections of this disease In the town.
Adults and children ,all alike, suffer from this disease .Despite the very effective medicines that we have in our hospitals ,the disease just can't let the people of this town to rest ,It keeps revolving among the people. The disease has come to stick in the town such that it is almost becoming a part of life ,seeing the patients of chicken pox has become a normal site in this town.
The reasons why the sdisease has come to stick in the town is what none of us can know only ,perhaps ,if we were told by the experts in the medical services ministry ,otherwise ,the rest of us have been left wondering what could be happening .
The disease has spread well all over the town ,the jua kali areas ,the town center, and even the slums ,everywhere, people are suffering from the disease.Could the disease have become drug resisitant so that even if the peopel went for innoculation ,the disease can not die?
It has become so comon in this place that we are beginning to get scared ,a disease that had been forgotten about in the past to suddenly start infecting the masses,it really is very scaring!!!

RITUAL KILLINGS EXIST IN KENYA
Religion contninues to confuse people on this planet with everyone yearning for someone to tell them the truth.
Some sects have indulged themselves in very odd activities recently and all these is done in the name of worshiping a god of somekind or to appease some spirits somewehere that are known only to the believers.
No one has ever stood up, though, with enough proof that he or she is the right God and so we continue living in the darkness of trial and error .
Some sects or whatever they call themselves have been scaring people so much with their ways of worshiping. They have been killing fellow human beings and using them as sacrifices to their gods. The gods that are known only to them and not the rest of us.
On June the twenty fourth th eyear two thousand and ten ,There were reports on the internet of the existence of ritual killings in Kenya. These people kill other people just to get their hair and then go and use the hair in their shrines to please their gods.
We quote The website ; Infocult: Information, Culture, Policy, Education
"Ritual killings for human hair are going on in Kenya, claims a local crime report. One man confessed to up to seven murders, while describing a group conducting more.
[John Okoth Otieno] said they [his religious group] were not interested in ransom or blood from the victims but human hair, which they produce to their seniors to assess their progress...
The suspect, who shocked police with the ease in which he made the confessions, said members of the cult meet every last Friday of the month in Kisumu, Kericho or Nairobi, where they compare notes on how many each had killed.
I'm reminded of one of the fine early X-Files episodes, "Irresistible." Remember "is your hair normal or dry?"
(via Warren Ellis)
The Governments will have to control the methods of worshiping so that these sects don't kill innocent people for their own benefit .Every one has a right to live and not to be used as sacrifices. And the religions will have to prove to this world that they are worshipping the right gods and not leading us in to darkness like the above mentioned sects.
We need to work together to get rid of his ritual killings that go on in the name of worshipping this odd gods, the gods that need human sacrifices.Every human being has a right to life ,makng this kinds of rites illegal in Kenya .
This believers could be psycologyically sick even ,yopu can't too sure .But whatever happens ,let us work together to get rid of this sects!!
